2011 Chevrolet Aveo Reviews

2011 Chevrolet Aveo
2011 Chevrolet Aveo hangs in the back of the pack thanks to interior underpowered, cheap machines and the lack of a standard air conditioner. Aveo will be replaced in 2012 by Sonic Chevy

2011 Chevrolet Aveo looks as if it could be a leader in the subcompact economy car segment. Low Prices? Check. High fuel economy? Got it. Respectable handling. The problem (for the Chevy Aveo) is that even in low-grade basement of the vehicle, there is still a better option.

2011 Chevrolet Aveo is available either as a sedan or four-door hatchback, called the Aveo5. Both body styles can accommodate five passengers and is offered in three trim levels: base LS, 1LT 2LT and top-of-the-line midgrade

Chevrolet Aveo 1LT models of air conditioning and CD/MP3 player with 6-speaker sound system as standard equipment. Aveo 1LT is optional with 4-speed automatic transmission, XM Satellite Radio, rear spoiler, cruise control, and alarm systems. Power windows and locks are also available as optional equipment on 1LT models, and features remote keyless entry. 2LT models include as standard equipment 1LT many optional features, including cruise control, heated outside mirrors, and XM Satellite Radio.
All models come with the Aveo, 100,000-mile Powertrain Warranty 5 years.

Another vehicle to consider during the Chevrolet Aveo is the Honda Fit. Available only as a hatchback, it starts at nearly $ 3,200 more than Aveo5 hatchback. However, Fit holds 57.3 cubic feet of cargo, which is significantly more than 37.2 cubic feet offered in the Aveo. Fit base also includes standard safety features like side-curtain airbags and anti-lock brakes - which are not available on Aveo base.

In government crash tests, Chevy Aveo sedan in 2011 reached the top five star rating for driver and four stars for the passenger in frontal impacts. Given four stars to three stars for front and rear passengers in side impacts. Hatchback is a little better, get five stars for front passengers in frontal-impact test. In Insurance Institute for Highway Safety crash tests, the Chevrolet Aveo received the second best score of average for performance in frontal-offset crash, although it should be noted that most rivals higher score Good rating. IIHS side-impact testing produced the second lowest score of marginal.
